The “King Cobra” model was introduced by the Colt’s Manufacturing Company is 1986. It is a double-action, 6 round cylinders, built on a Medium (“V”) frame size model.

It was designed originally for the professional use of the law enforcement agencies, but although for civilians use.

The revolver was offered with several gun’s finish within the years. From 1986 to 1992, it was produced in carbon steel with a highly polished royal blued finish. Matte stainless steel models were then available between 1987-1998. And from 1988 – 1992, the polished stainless steel models became available.

The King Cobra was available in powerful .357 Magnum calibers, but will also fire .38 Specials.

Production of the revolver was stopped in 1998.
